Applied Artist & Photographer
Sanjay Ray, born in Kolkata in 1975, obtained his BFA and MFA
in Applied Art from the Government College of Art and Craft,
University of Calcutta, in 2000 and 2002, respectively. He has
dedicated his career to Ancient Heritage Art and Architectural
Documentation, along with creative fine arts photography,
primarily throughout West Bengal, Bihar, Orissa, and Northern
India.
Sanjay has showcased his work in numerous exhibitions across
various galleries and art fairs organized by both government
and non-government organizations. For the past 17 years, he
has served as a faculty member in Applied Art at the College of
Art and Design, Burdwan University, where he has earned
several college accolades. He currently resides and works in
Kolkata
