Indu is a self taught artist who started her artistic journey in the year 2013 and since then she has proudly exhibited her paintings in different cities of India and abroad through more than 40 solo and group shows. Besides that she has participated in various art festivals and workshops.

She has been awarded with Aprajita kala samman by leading hindi newspaper Prabhat khabar, Agnipath kala ratan Award for promoting folk art, Youth Icon Award, Women’s conclave Award for best Madhubani artist. She has also been featured in Influential Indian Coffee table book. Her paintings have been displayed at various locations as art collection collected by various personalities and organisations.
