Anita
Anita is a multidisciplinary artist, author, and cultural heritage researcher whose practice is shaped by over two decades of fieldwork, travel, and artistic inquiry across South and Southeast Asia.
A self-taught artist, she works with traditional Indian art forms such as Madhubani, Odisha Patachitra, Tanjore painting, ceramics, and textile-based media, reinterpreting them through a contemporary and contemplative visual language.
Trained in fashion and textile design, her work bridges ritual, history, and modern expression. She has exhibited nationally & internationally in over 25 exhibitions, including three solo shows, and has received multiple awards and recognitions for her contributions to art, research, and cultural preservation.
She is the author of several research-based publications on art, festivals, and shared cultural heritage.
