Born in late 1950s, a Doctorate in Botany and was a Professor in Plant sciences, CU . She is passionate to nurture the beauty and conservation of Mother Nature at her artworks through decades..

She mainly follows the Bengal school of painting with an obvious influence of contemporary ideas out of her inner self !!

Being a self taught artist and a naturalist, she has performed 8 solo shows and participated more than 48 group exhibitions till date and has been covered at a number of leading newspapers and TV channels. A number of her works are now remaining with different collectors in India and abroad.
